Eye Spy Bubbles & Covid Clams

Make the super cute Eye Spy Bubbles quilt for the special little person in your life or make any style or colour bubbles that suit you. In this class you could also make a start on the Covid Clams project. Both quilts come from the same pattern book and share similar techniques.

You will learn blind hem applique on a whole cloth or layered surface. Learn to prepare your shapes and apply them with your blind hem stitch. Learn about needle, thread, fabric and stabilizer combinations for a successful flat result. Deb suggests learning the techniques in class by working on a cushion and going on to work on a quilt or cot quilt after class. If you’d like to begin with the quilt let us know and we will talk you though the materials but bear in mind you won’t get this project completed in the day. 

This one-off class is suitable for a confident beginner who has made a thing or two, knows their machine, and is looking for a new challenge or for experienced patchworkers who might like to learn a new technique and have a fun day out. The day will be a fun, achievable learning opportunity with experienced and organised teacher Deb Louie and a great chance to learn from Deb without committing to 6 months of classes at a time.

COVID 19 DETAILS:  

At the time of making this listing, it is a not a requirement to wear masks during the workshop or to do a QR check in. We still require physical distancing in class so that masks don’t have to be worn.
