Save the date!! I’m so excited that we’ve been able to squeeze into Michelle Marvig’s hectic schedule as international travel guide! Michelle will be with us in February for three days of teaching.
This is the listing for Michelle’s one day class on Friday the 17th of Feb 2023. On this day, choose from one of three cushions the Whirling Dervish, the Sunset Blue or the Modern Mariners Compass. All of these projects employ foundation paper piecing to create sharp, dynamic triangular shapes. Both blocks are suitable to learn in class as a cushion, table runner or go on to make a whole quilt.
Michelle is a popular teacher at large quilting conventions both in Australia and overseas, has run a patchwork shop, was the editor of the Quilters Companion magazine, working on the publication and the DVD series. Michelle currently designs, makes, teaches and hosts international textile travel tours. During covid she self-published a book called Lemonade Quilts, a project that kept her going during the uncertain times.
VISITING TUTOR REFUND POLICY: Due to the outlays we have for visiting tutors, we do not refund class fees once booked and paid for any reason including; change of mind, change of circumstances or illness. You may organise a replacement delegate in class if you can no longer attend but financial arrangements would need to be organised between the two of you. Please let us knew as soon as you know you can’t attend. We may have a waiting list and might be able to help fill your spot. If you do not attend and do not communicate with us, your payment is forfeit.
COVID 19: At the time of listing, there are not any Covid 19 Protocols aside from having to isolate for 5 days from returning a positive RAT. If you are unable to attend class at short notice because of covid 19, the above visiting tutor refund policy still applies. There are no refunds for non attendance. Please factor in the risk of contracting Covid 19 when booking.
