This Slow Stitching kit contains everything you need to have a go a the popular Japanese Style Sashiko stitching. At the end of the project you’ll have a complete cushion like ours pictured on the pattern cover with a coordinating navy blue cushion back with a camouflaged navy zip.
The kit contains the prestencilled ‘shippo’ sashiko fabric, sashiko needles, red and white sashiko threads, cushion back, zip and a very detailed pattern/instruction leaflet to show you what to do each step of the way including how to manage your sashiko threads and how to insert your zip in the cushion back. All you will need is to purchase a 50cm cushion insert once you’re done.
The backing fabric may differ slightly from that pictured but will be a dark indigo patterned Japanese fabric. Please message if you would like to see a photo of the exact backing fabric that will come with your kit.
