Description
This is design “Many Patterns” printed Sashiko Panel by Olympus. Half of this panel features eight repeated designs inspired by traditional Japanese family crests ‘Kamon’ in hexagon blocks. The other half of the panel features four continuous traditional designs.
The panel is pre-stencilled eliminating the need to mark the fabric before starting to sashiko stitch. All the pre-stencilled markings wash off in tepid water when completed and each panel comes with a stitching guide and tips.
This panel is printed on a very dark indigo (almost black) cotton cloth (as shown in the close up) which looks fabulous stitched in white, ecru or any contrasting colour!
The individual hexagons could be cut up to be made into coasters or pieced or appliquéd onto quilts, cushions or bags. These sashiko panels are sure to give hours of creative joy.
