Quilt-lite is a fine, woven, 100% cotton wadding. It resembles what used to be called ‘doctors flannel’. It’s amazing to hand quilt through being so thin. It gives your quilts a lovely drape and a bit more body than being purely a two layer coverlet but the resulting quilt is lovely and light, perfect for Australian weather- not too hot.
Quilt-lite is only 150cm wide so sometimes needs to be joined. This can be achieved with a simple zig-zag or herringbone along the selvedge edge. Note 2cms of the width at each end is selvedge. This info might be useful to you if you’re counting on the width.
