This is a special listing for Helen Draper’s students at Gunning Retreat. It is for a cool version of the Feeling Groovy Quilt with fabrics as pictured.

This kit is for the wonderful and very popular Feeling Groovy Quilt by Helen Draper measuring 58 x 58 inches (147cm x 147cm). The kit includes all the fabric, in this case predominantly Kaffe Fasset fabrics, you need to make the quilt top including the peeper (purple and white stripe). The pattern by Helen Draper can be used to make the quilt by machine or by hand piecing.
The kit includes:
- 11 x 40cm pieces of fabric for quilt body
- 1 x 40cm piece for Peeper
- Feeling Groovy Acrylic templates
Does not include the binding, backing or wadding or the pattern as Helen will supply the pattern free of charge to her class. Note: We do have other Feeling Groovy kits listed on our main website. They are the same price including the pattern. This kit contains more recently delivered and thus more expensive fabric, so even though we are not charging for the pattern in this instance, the fabrics cost more so it ends up the same price.
Please note, you are purchasing a kit that has been chosen to replicate the bright colours and intensely floral feel of the original quilt as pictured on the pattern cover but the fabrics are not identical to the original. This kit is a very popular purchase from us and we often have feedback that people have enjoyed making up our fabric choices. We’ve also received feedback that customers have enjoyed adding fabrics from their stash to personalise or grow the project in size. Postage will be charged for this kit at our ‘bulky’ rate of $17 as it is heavy and expensive to post. Unless you choose ‘Click and Collect’ at the shipping section of check out. If you do this you won’t be charged postage and we will deliver it direct to your class at the Gunning Retreat.
