Description
This is Fusible Woven Interfacing, commonly known as Weaveline or Shape to Create. Fusible woven interfacing, is a light weight cotton that will add support and stabilisation to fabric. It is used to stabilize lengthwise and crosswise grain and ideal for dressmaking or quilting. The activated adhesive on one side of this fusible stabilizer will bond it to your fabric when you iron it on. Once it is fused, your fabric will feel stiffer and more robust to stitch through but it will still be light and retail its drape. We use it to stabilize knits or silk for patchwork or to layer your japanese kimonos or vintage textiles for boro stitching.
