This is a listing for metric fat eighths, cut by us in store. Each fat quarter measures 25cm x 55cm. The bundle contains 32 fat eighths as pictured above. Only rarely do we buy in a complete range of over 30 bolts!! This year I was so enchanted by Camont that I took the plunge. Designed by Anna Bond of Rifle Paper Co. fame and printed for the Cotton and Steel fabric label. There are 32 fabrics in a delicate range which evokes the tradition of timeless tapestries and elegant country houses with exotic menageries.
Anna Bond’s travels took her to an idyllic 18th-century farmhouse owned by chef Kate Hill (kitchen-at-camont.com) where she was inspired by it’s fig trees, roaming chickens, and overgrown hydrangeas. The house, along with a historical pattern from York Wallcoverings archives provided the inspiration for the new Camont designs.
The fabric range for Cotton and Steel features a menagerie of animals in an idyllic lemon grove, all in a rich, well balanced palette that’s equally at home in your home and wardrobe. Use the whole range or group them into ‘cool gardens’ and ‘warm gardens’ At first glance, the range seems charming like a Laura Ashley wallpaper but look closely and the peacocks, leopards and all the coordinates will fit in with any of your contemporary projects. Brilliant for EPP fussy cutting, bags, clothes etc..
